Representative Ahmed Sabah Al -Salloum, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, stressed that the day of community partnership and national affiliation, which falls on the eighteenth of March every year, reflects the authentic values of Bahraini society, and highlights the importance of cooperation and solidarity between all groups of society and its institutions to enhance the sustainable development process in the Kingdom.
The MP Al -Salloum pointed out that the community partnership represents an essential pillar in the modern security strategy implemented by the Ministry of Interior led by His Excellency the first team, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, as this partnership contributes to enhancing security and stability, and emphasizes the role of the citizen as an effective partner in preserving the security of the homeland and its gains. He explained that enhancing awareness of the importance of cooperation between citizens and security services enhances the state’s ability to face security and social challenges.
The MP Al -Salloum added that the national affiliation is manifested in the commitment of citizens to national and social values, and adhere to the Bahraini identity, which enhances national unity and preserves the social fabric, pointing out that a sense of responsibility towards the country is manifested through the effective contribution in various fields, whether in volunteer work, development initiatives or commitment to laws and regulations, which creates a more cohesive society and ability to achieve progress.
The MP Al -Salloum emphasized that the national plan to enhance national affiliation and consolidate the values of citizenship (our Bahrain) came a translation of the royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the monarch of the country, may God protect and preserve him, which aims to enhance the spirit of citizenship, loyalty and belonging to all members of society. He pointed out that this plan represents a road map to enhance the role of the Bahraini individual in supporting security, stability and development, and reflects the wise leadership commitment to enhance the values of loyalty and belonging.
In this context, MP Al -Salloum noted the importance of national initiatives that enhance societal partnership, such as the experience of the community service police, the application of the Penal Code and alternative measures, the reformist justice law for children and their protection from ill -treatment, which reflects the reform march of His Majesty, may God protect and preserve him, and contributes to promoting national cohesion and community cohesion. He also pointed out that these initiatives enhance the society’s ability to find practical and effective solutions to social challenges, and enhance the role of the citizen in preserving the stability and security of the Kingdom.
The MP Al -Salloum stressed that strengthening the community partnership requires continuous cooperation between the public and private sectors, in addition to civil society organizations, as all of these parties contribute to building a strong system that supports social and economic sustainability, indicating that the role that companies and private institutions play in supporting societal initiatives reflects their commitment to social responsibility, and constitutes a positive model for integrating roles in serving the country.
Representative Al -Salloum concluded his statement by emphasizing that societal partnership and national affiliation are a shared responsibility that rests with everyone, calling for strengthening these noble values and working in the spirit of one team to achieve more achievements and upgrading the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields, stressing that Bahrain, with its wise leadership and conscious people, is able to enhance these principles and establish them in the conscience of future generations.
