The captain of Al -Hilal team, Salem Al -Dossari, decided his future with the “leader” after extensive negotiations on renewing his contract, after entering the free period that allows him to negotiate with any club without Al -Hilal’s approval.
Although negotiations stalled between the two parties at the beginning, Prince Al -Walid bin Talal, a member of the supportive crescent honor, intervened to end the crisis.
According to sports critic Abdel Rahman Abaoud, the prince held a special session with Al -Dossary after the friendly match against Al -Diriyah, where he succeeded in persuading the player to the amount submitted by the club to renew his contract for two additional seasons.
Al -Dossary increased speculation about his continuation with Al -Hilal after he posted a picture through his account on “Instagram”, in which he appeared accepting the club’s slogan, in a clear indication of his survival.
Al -Hilal renewed the Dossary contract in December 2021 until June 30, 2025, with an annual salary of 13 million riyals. With the new renewal, the player will continue his career with the team that has become one of his symbols, especially after his brilliance in the 2018 and 2022 World Cup with the Saudi national team.
