The Parliamentary Facilities and Environment Committee approved the proposal with a desire for the government to allocate one or more lands in which cars selling exhibitions and companies specialized in selling cars are collected, in order to facilitate the process of viewing the latest cars and comparing them. This is to raise the level of organization and limit its sites.
As for the members of the Muharraq Municipal Council, they saw that it did not include the identification of a certain land in itself to study the possibility of implementing the proposal project on it, and they asked about the fate of the current sites of car showrooms, and will the current exhibitions be transferred to the proposed place, or will it be satisfied with the establishment of a branch or office affiliated to the exhibition in the land designated for car exhibitions in question?
The Municipal Council of the Northern Region stated that it did not agree to the proposal with a desire; To be feasible, the council saw that the proposal needs more study.
Finally, the Municipal Council of the southern region expressed its approval of the proposal with a desire, provided that the land allocated to collect exhibitions and car sale agencies within the southern governorate, and the Council praised the proposal that contributes to encouraging and attracting foreign investments, and facilitates consumers to see the latest cars and compare them, and spare them the trouble of searching.
