Aston Villa striker Marcus Rashford expressed his great happiness after scoring two goals in his team’s three -clean victory over Preston, to achieve his first goals with “Villas” since he joined loaned from Manchester United last January.
Rashford suffered from the lack of participation under the leadership of coach Robin Amorim in Manchester United, but he quickly recovered his level with Aston Villa under the supervision of coach Unai Emery.
In remarks after the match, Rashford said: “I was missing the matches regularly, but now I am very comfortable and enjoy the performance I offer with the team.”
He added: “My physical condition is constantly improving, and my body responds wonderfully, which gives me great confidence in the next stage.”
The English star also confirmed that Aston Villa aspires to finish the season in the first four places to ensure qualification to the Champions League, stressing that the team will fight to achieve the maximum possible in all championships.
