The Ras Al Khaimah Police Department, in cooperation with the Criminal Investigations and Investigation Department, issued an educational clip to raise awareness of the dangers of begging, as part of the annual campaign, “He struggled to beg and helped those who deserve”, in conjunction with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan. The awareness clip includes a representative scene about the danger of helping beggars, which is an explicit violation of the Decree of Federal Law No. 31 of 2021, which provides for the punishment of the perpetrator of single begging by gypsum for a period not exceeding three months and a fine of no less than five thousand dirhams, and to punish everyone who runs the crime of organized begging and the use of a person from abroad for use in committing it by imprisonment for a period of no less than six months and fines it
