The General Authority of Culture Palaces is organizing various cultural and artistic events in the Port Said Culture Branch, to celebrate the nights of Ramadan, where the ninth night at the Port Fouad Youth Center witnessed educational meetings, poetry evenings, and artistic workshops, as well as distinguished folkloric shows.
Ramadan nights in Port Said, combining culture, arts and folklore
The events started with a religious lecture given by Sheikh Al -Sayyid Al -Behairi, in which the virtue of the last ten days of Ramadan and the Night of Power, in addition to the provisions of Zakat al -Fitr, followed by a cultural competition for the winners of the prizes provided by the Youth Center.
The writer and poet Mohamed Hafez also gave a lecture on the radio drama between the past and the present, during which he discussed the development of this art, reviewing famous radio models, including the Samara series and the Qatif program by the artist Sameh Hussein.
The night included a poetry evening, moderated by the writer Mohamed Khudair, where he threw his poem, hear me, while the artist and poet Mohamed Hafez presented his poem, I did not think of you?
The events witnessed a show show of the Band of Children of Port Said Culture Palace of Folklore, led by coach Mohamed Ashry, which included heritage dances such as Al -Dhimah, Al -Jawabi, Folk Games, and Egypt’s review of arrogance, and a technical workshop was held for people with determination, which was carried out by Professor Sumaya Abu Zaid and Muhammad Al -Raddad, amid the participation of a number of leaders of cultural activities in Port Said and Port Fouad.
The events come under the supervision of the writer Mohamed Nassef, Vice -President of the General Authority for Culture Palaces, and regional supervision of Dr. Shuaib Khalaf, Director General of the Canal Region and Sinai Cultural, and Wissam Al -Azouni, Director of the Port Said Culture Branch.
