Minya Governorate is preparing, today, Sunday, to receive the blessed month of Ramadan with a busy cultural and artistic program, where Major General Imad Kadwani, Governor of Minya, announced the launch of the activities of “Ramadan nights” in the palaces and houses of culture in the cities and centers of the governorate throughout the month of Ramadan.
A program full of events
The program aims to deepen the spiritual and national aspects of citizens through a variety of seminars, evenings and artistic performances, with the participation of a group of scholars, thinkers, poets and artists.
The activities of the first day
The activities of “Ramadan Nights” are launched with a group of various events in the various palaces and homes of culture in the governorate, and it includes religious seminars that is a seminar entitled “The Night of Power is better than a thousand months” at the Minya Culture Palace, and a lecture on the virtue of the month of fasting at the secondary school for girls in Abu Qirqas, and a symposium entitled “Ramadan the month of change and self -renewal” at the secondary school of the new girls in Smalout.
Besides poetic evenings, it is a Ramadan evening entitled “The Tenth of Ramadan, the Song of Victory” at the Minya Culture Palace, a poetry evening at the Matai Culture House, and a poetic evening in the Maghagha Culture Palace.
An artistic workshop is an artistic workshop on the “Ramadan Lantern” in the Mallawi Culture Palace, an artistic workshop on “Zina Ramadan” at the Al -Azhar Girls Institute in Beni Mazar, a graphic workshop in the House of Adwa Culture, a drawing workshop entitled “Ramadan in our country” at the Industrial Secondary School in Deermias, an artistic workshop on Ramadan Zina in the secondary school of the new girls in Smalout, while it will be held in artistic shows Mallawi for folklore in Mallawi Sports Club.
Minya Governor affirmed that these activities represent a “spiritual and national meal that draws inspiration from the past and draws the features of the future for our great country and our immortal nation”, and the governor called on all citizens to participate in these events and enjoy the Ramadan atmosphere that prevails in the province.

These activities come within the framework of Minya Governorate’s keenness to revive the Ramadan airspace and provide the opportunity for citizens to enjoy various cultural and artistic programs during the Holy Month, and these activities contribute to enhancing religious and cultural awareness among citizens, spreading good values and morals, and reviving folklore.
