The National Council for Childhood and Motherhood announced its immediate intervention in the painful incident to which a eight -year -old girl was exposed to the tenth of Ramadan City in Sharkia Governorate, where the girl was subjected to a heinous crime at the hands of a young man who followed her if she entered a water cycle in one of the mosques, during the presence of her mother to sell vegetables in one of the nearby markets, and the criminal was seized where the second prosecution of the tenth of Ramadan began her investigations.
Dr. Sahar Al -Sanbati, President of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, explained that once the communication was received, the General Administration of the Chief of the Children has moved immediately to provide the necessary support to the girl and her family, as the child was transferred to the hospital to check on her health condition, and receive the necessary medical and psychological care.
Al -Sanbati, the council’s specialists, in coordination with the Child Protection Unit in the tenth of Ramadan City, directed the follow -up of the child’s condition first -hand, while starting to implement an integrated plan to provide the necessary psychological support to the child and her sisters children present with her mother.
She added that the council is fully cooperating with the Public Prosecution to follow up the necessary legal procedures to ensure the realization of justice for the child and her family, thanks to the Child Protection Office at the Office of the Advocacy of the Attorney General for its efforts and what he does to achieve the best interest of children, stressing that the council will not tolerate the right of children and provide all forms of support necessary to protect them from any violations.
