Mursal Foundation, a member of the National Alliance of National and Development Action, announced the provision of a comprehensive medical and social services package of 137 thousand during the holy month of Ramadan, at a total cost of 41 million pounds, from which thousands of families and groups needed.
Mursal said, in a statement today, that she is keen to provide comprehensive solutions that reflect its firm commitment to societal responsibility towards the first categories of care, stressing the provision of these services without discrimination to all groups, noting that medical care during the holy month of the first categories of care, was represented in conducting 1.704 free medical examination, which included an accurate diagnosis and periodic reviews to ensure the follow -up of health conditions, as well as the distribution of Monthly medications regularly on 2.770 patients, while 543 patients underwent specialized tests such as radiation and laboratory analyzes.
It stated that the Foundation team performed 57 successful surgeries, and provided 3,560 dialysis sessions for patients with chronic kidney disease, in addition to receiving 147 critical cases in the intensive care departments equipped with the latest technology.
In the context of its interest in mental health, the Foundation presented 163 psychological support sessions, 3,375 physical therapy sessions and addresses, to support patients in overcoming physical and psychological challenges, as Mersal was keen to meet the needs of patients who are unable to move, by allocating 308 home medical services to 183 patients, and transferring 251 emergency cases by equipping her aid.
The Foundation drew attention to the distribution of 120 thousand Ramadan breakfast meals, with the targeting of the distribution of 135 thousand meals by the end of the holy month, while the Mursal Hospitality House hosted 233 patients and their companions, during which they provided them with full stay and care, and also contributed to enabling families economically by distributing 1.571 purchases of one thousand pounds for each family, in addition to providing direct financial aid to 756 families, and supporting 1.675 cases With in -kind assistance, such as clothes and household items.
The Foundation explained that it provided specialized monthly dining cartons to 343 children, “PKU” patients; To ensure that they get a safe diet that is appropriate for their health.
Heba Rashid, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mursal Foundation, stressed that these numbers translate the Foundation’s vision in building an integrated society, saying: “We seek to achieve a balance between providing urgent medical services and long -term social support, because the stability of families is the basis of society’s progress.” Providing temporary aid goes beyond the enabled and integrating them into the fabric of society.
