Dr. Osama Al -Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, condemned in the strongest terms the decision of the Israeli occupation to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and the closure of the crossings used in relief work, in a flagrant violation of international laws and norms; This exacerbates the human suffering of the Palestinian people, especially in the blessed month of Ramadan.
Preventing aid to enter Gaza is a crime
The minister affirmed that depriving innocent people of food and medicine is a humanitarian crime that contradicts the basic principles of heavenly laws, and contradicts international laws and covenants that guarantee the protection of civilians in times of crises and conflicts.
He also warned that the continued imposition of restrictions on the entry of aid doubles the suffering of women, children and the elderly who face tragic conditions that threaten their lives, calling on the international community and human rights and humanitarian institutions to immediately move immediately to pressure the occupation authorities to ensure the rapid and safe flow of aid to Gaza.
The Minister of Awqaf stressed that silence towards these violations represents a complicity against human and moral values, calling on all active forces on the international scene to take a firm position that guarantees the lifting of the injustice against the Palestinian people, and the suspension of any arbitrary measures that deprive him of their basic rights in a decent life; On top of which is his right to establish an independent state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with its capital, Al -Quds Al -Sharif.
Earlier, the Ministry of Endowments announced the Al -Nasr Mosque in the village of Delja, the Der Mawas Center, Minya Governorate, completely using solar energy, to become the first mosque in the governorate to be totally dependent on renewable energy sources. This step comes in the context of the trend towards sustainable development and enhancing the optimal use of energy within mosques, which contributes to reducing electricity consumption and relieving pressure on the public network, within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Endowments to support environmental sustainability and rationalize energy consumption.
