Israeli media revealed that the Palestinian -American billionaire, Bashar Al -Masry, plays a prominent role in the plans of US President Donald Trump’s administration to put the Gaza Strip after the war.
The Israeli Jerusalem Post quoted diplomatic sources as saying that Al -Masry is working as a close consultant to Adam Bouhler, Trump’s envoy in hostages negotiations and moving with him on his trips, and plays a quiet role in the pre -American President’s plans in Gaza and the reconstruction process.
The Egyptian is a businessman who has a huge investment portfolio in the Middle East and in Israel and the founder of the city of Rawabi in the West Bank, and he shares the same commercial approach with Trump, which made him occupy a position in Trump’s economic vision of the administration in the region.
Al -Masry – according to the Israeli newspaper – was participating in the protests against Israel, but he is now seen as a pragmatic figure who has nothing to do with enthusiasm or the Palestinian Authority, and his double identity also contributed as a Palestinian born in Nablus and an American in granting him a place that makes him acceptable from the American administration and also has influence in the Palestinian business departments.
According to the newspaper, “Bashar Al -Masry has a commercial wealth, intelligence and political impartiality that makes him a candidate to lead efforts to reconstruct the Gaza Strip in light of his extensive relations and economic vision that is in line with the directions of the American administration.”
