In a special dialogue through the “Makhil” program, Prince Nawwaf bin Saad, former president of Al Hilal Saudi Club, revealed many exciting files related to the team’s march, referring to the scenes of the 2014 AFC Champions League final, and his opinion on the club’s current management, in addition to his evaluation of the current season.

Nawaf bin Saad explained that Al -Hilal was subjected to a clear arbitration injustice in the 2014 Asian final against Western Sydney, stressing that the Japanese referee Hitochi Nishimura played a direct role in the team’s loss of the continental title, in a match that witnessed controversial decisions.

He also revealed that he was not with the team in that final because of his father’s illness, which made him temporarily move away from the administrative scene.

Prince Nawaf talked about his return to the presidency of Al -Hilal in 2015 after his resignation in October 2013, which came due to his daughter’s illness and travel to America, noting that his resignation from the position of Vice President at the time was not announced immediately because of Prince Abdul Rahman bin Musaed, the club president, at the time.

On the current situation, Nawaf bin Saad defended the current president, Fahd bin Naval, stressing that whoever demands his departure is wrong, noting that his success must be compared to the competing clubs that receive the same support, and not in the previous departments.

He also praised the administrative and technical stability that Al -Hilal is currently experiencing, despite his assertion that the level of the team this season is less than last season, especially at the defensive level.
