His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, witnessed the annual ceremony organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs on the occasion of Bahraini Youth Day, which falls on March 25 of each year, in the presence of a number of ministers and officials, and Bahraini youth who contribute to the renaissance of the Kingdom, where His Highness prefers to honor 25 young men and women from the distinguished “exceptional volunteer” initiative.
The ceremony started with the tour of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the exhibition “The Exceptional Volunteer”, which reviewed the achievements of Bahraini youth in the various fields of volunteer work.
The ceremony included the presentation of a film that documents the wise leadership support for the youth sector, and the efforts of Bahraini youth in the Kingdom’s elevation and the achievements and success they achieved, followed by the poet Sabika Al -Shehhi, a poem entitled “Power and Determination”.
Then His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa preferred to honor the winners of the postage design competition for this occasion, as the first place was achieved Ghazi, the second place Dalal Boumitam, and the third place Marwan Abdullah.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received a memorial gift, which is the memorial character that was specially designed for this occasion.
The Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan Tawfiqi, delivered a speech in which he confirmed that Bahraini youth receive the attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, where His Majesty always directed to empower young people and support them to become future leaders, praising the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, towards young people by providing opportunities and enhancing their participation in the national projects, which contributes to the strength of Acting in the development process.
Tawfiqi stressed that His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa pays special attention to Bahraini youth, as His Highness is keen to support and motivate them constantly, believing in their capabilities and capabilities in creativity, excellence and innovation, which contributes to enhancing their role in the development process and empowering them in various sectors, praising the honorable achievements that Bahraini youth achieve.
