Eng. Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs in the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, stressed the importance of continuous cooperation with the private sector to enhance efforts to provide and develop municipal services, praising the role of effective community partnership in supporting projects that keep pace with the aspirations of community members.
This came during the opening of the 646 complex break in the Houra Sanad area, which was implemented with the support of Newcastle Contracting Company, where the agent noted this community partnership that embodies the company’s commitment to developing projects that serve the community, and provides an environment that meets the needs of individuals and families, stressing that this project is in line with the Ministry’s plans to develop the urban environment within the residential areas in a way that enhances the quality of life and accompanies the aspirations of citizens.
Sheikh Muhammad explained that the 646 complex break in the Houra Sanad area was implemented on an area of about 400 square meters, and includes a number of games, sites of sitting, and green spaces in addition to a group of other facilities that provide an appropriate environment for comfort and recreation, which contributes to improving the quality of life and meeting the needs of society from places of entertainment and rest.
The opening was attended by Eng. Issa Abdel -Rahman Al -Buainain, Director General of the Southern Region Municipality, Engineer Sabah Abdel -Khaleq Al -Sabah, Assistant Undersecretary for Joint Municipal Services, and Mr. Mohamed Hussein Darraj, member of the Southern Region Council, representative of the fourth district, along with representatives of Newcastle Contracting Company and a number of officials.
