Mohammed bin Khalifa: Plans to develop a brand “Made in Bahrain” affiliated with “Culture”

The Director General of Heritage at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, revealed that there are future plans to develop the “Made in Bahrain” brand of the authority, through the development of the offered products and increased their diversity in the authority’s stores, which are currently located in the Al -Jasra Center and the Bahrain Bab. This came during the Capital Secretariat session yesterday, to talk about some of the restoration projects carried out by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities during the past year. Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa touched on the project of restoring the Thursday Mosque, which was completed by the authority with the efforts of its employees, experts and engineers, indicating that the center of the Thursday mosque’s visitor contains many artifacts related to the history of the mosque and the Thursday market and its historical connection to the people Under general directions to revive historical eyes in Bahrain through parks and gardens inside and outside Manama. In a related context, Sheikh Muhammad bin Khalifa explained that the work is based on the development of the Muhazah Mosque in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, where excavations have been completed and work is underway to prepare engineering designs for the mosque, indicating that the model of the Bahraini mosque architecture will be preserved.
