The Minister of Communications and Communications, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, revealed that there are 5 licenses for the activity of smart public transport services in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including two mosques for Bahrainis, and 3 licenses owned by foreigners.

This came during his response to a question submitted by the Shura Council member Hisham Al -Qassab about the number of citizens licensed for foreigners, and the privileges granted to them by the Ministry of Communications and Communications.

The minister pointed out that the current orientation of institutional work, especially with this license, which requires management of integrated data for the licensee and the way to deal with customers, in addition to financial matters related to companies and individuals working on this application, and other technical, legal, promotional and technical and technical support for users, which need an integrated team for the success of the application.

With regard to the requirements and documents that companies and institutions must fulfill and submit them for licensing, he explained that the applicant must submit an operational plan that explains the application mechanism, the activities that will be provided through the application, the services it includes, and the project’s time plan. It must also be familiar with reading and writing, or it is used for him who is familiar with them, and that he has not previously been convicted of a felony or a crime violating honor or honesty unless the ruling is intended to stop the implementation, or if he was returned to him, in addition to that he is good biography, reputation and behavior.
