Mohamed Gibran, Minister of Labor, announced the launch of a comprehensive medical insurance for irregular employment, as part of the state’s efforts to support this category and ensure that it obtains the necessary health care.
Gibran: The irregular employment will be accurate
Gibran stressed during a television interview, that the irregular employment will be accurately limited to ensuring the support of its beneficiaries, noting that a set of controls have been developed to ensure justice in the distribution of grants, explaining that support will not include those who own a luxury car or those whose children join private schools, in order to ensure that resources are directed to the most needy groups.
Gibran added that this step comes within the state’s strategy to support irregular labor, and improve their living conditions by providing integrated social protection that guarantees them a decent life.
Mohamed Gibran also stressed that the issue of unemployment is the main concern of all countries of the world, stressing the importance of achieving a legislative balance between employers and workers to ensure a stable and productive work environment.
He pointed out that the new labor bill comes within the framework of addressing some of the challenges facing the labor market, stressing that one of the reasons for the low labor is poor distribution, which requires strengthening cooperation with the private sector as the main driver to accommodate employment.
He explained that the government is working to provide new job opportunities through major investment projects, noting that the opening of the Haier Factory is one of the successful models that contribute to the employment of trained workers.
