Mr. Mark Thomas, CEO of Babco Enemz – Integrated Energy Group that leads the transformation of the energy sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain – emphasized the adoption of real initiatives to invest in young national cadres as part of the group’s strategy to achieve sustainable growth and innovation, and to enhance the role of Bahraini youth in developing national companies and contributing to the national economy.
The CEO of Babco Enemz Group praised the vital and large role that Bahraini youth play in promoting innovation and achieving sustainability in various sectors, specifically in the energy industry, in exchange for their support and interest from the wise leadership and the esteemed government in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This came on the sidelines of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebrations on the occasion of Bahraini Youth Day on the twenty -fifth of March of each year, in which the achievements of Bahraini youth are celebrated and highlights the role of youth in achieving sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Thomas said, “The march of Bahraini youth witnessed an exceptional development renaissance in exchange for the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and follow -up and direct interest from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, so that the youth today become an essential and participating in the comprehensive development process in a way that enhances the various sectors of the state.”
He added, “The efforts and initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of Babco Enege, emerged, clearly in enhancing the position and support of Bahraini youth, and that the group led by His Highness pays exceptional attention to Bahraini youth, whose representation at the group level and all subsidiaries is 44% of the total workers, by designing a package of programs designated for training, professional development and lifting Of their competence to achieve the goals of their empowerment and their participation in making decisive decisions within the group.
Thomas explained that the energy sector is one of the most important economic sectors in the world, which usually witnesses a great activity by young people who work in this field, and play a vital role in enhancing innovation and sustainability by working to develop new technologies within the scope of renewable energy, improving extraction, refining, oil and gas storage, and developing solutions to transform towards the future of clean energy and reduce harmful emissions.
