Maintaining the prestige and rights of the teacher at the top of the ministry’s priorities

Mohamed Abdel -Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held today, Sunday, a meeting with 373 teachers of candidates to join the second session within the presidential initiative “1000 school principals”; To listen to their visions and discuss their proposals for the desired development events during the next stage.

This came in the presence of Dr. Ayman Bahaa, Deputy Minister, Dr. Ahmed Al -Muhammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow -up and supervisor of the Central Administration for Minister Office Affairs, and Nadia Abdullah, Head of the Central Administration for Teacher Affairs.

At the beginning of his speech, Mohamed Abdel -Latif, Minister of Technical Education, directed the managers nominated within the presidential initiative “1000 principals” of the importance of their role in the next stage, the importance of the training program enrolled in scientifically and practically, and the need to achieve the maximum benefit from the exercises provided to them, and transfer their great message efficiently to students inside schools, saying: I recommend that you transfer a civilized, scientific and moral supervisor.

The Minister praised the presidential initiative “1000 principals of the school”, which comes within the framework of Egypt’s 2030 vision, and has the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, President of the Republic, to choose 1,000 school principals of competent and distinguished teachers, and aims to strengthen school administration with creative youth expertise, and those who pass this program are granted a diploma in educational leadership and national security, which in turn paves the way for those who pass through the administration of a school.

The Minister stressed that the strategy of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education aims to enhance school administration with creative young competencies and leaders, praising the efforts made by school principals and teachers, stressing the success of the ministry in facing the challenge of the problem of student density, the deficit in the teachers, the return of students to schools and the high attendance rates during the current school year.

He pointed out that school principals are leaders within the educational institution, and they have management mechanisms by adhering to the regulations and decisions regulating to ensure the achievement of discipline within schools, noting that the successful strong manager is the one who imposes laws to achieve justice, discipline and order firmly; To achieve a stable educational environment inside the school.

The Minister pointed out his keenness to hold periodic meetings and discussion sessions with the various parties to the educational system, as no decision is built within the ministry except through these discussion sessions and direct dialogues, and many meetings were held with more than 17 thousand school principals to develop appropriate solutions and address the challenges facing the educational process, given their direct role in managing the educational process, and communication with students and parents.

The Minister also affirmed the state’s keenness to improve the educational system in all its aspects, as well as the ministry’s appreciation for the role of teachers and their efforts in order to build the future of our student children, noting that preserving the prestige and rights of the teacher comes at the top of the ministry’s priorities, and that several measures were taken to attract students to attend schools, including the work of the year, the evaluation system, school duties, and class brochure, in line with international education standards In various countries of the world.

The meeting also dealt with the challenges facing teachers and school principals and listened to their proposals on solutions to the various problems they face during the educational process, as many topics were discussed, including the development of educational performance for integration students, training of teachers, the development of the school building, the achievement of ideal benefit from the class teachers, the development of the school discipline list, educational motivation, school activities, the establishment of a unified electronic system For teachers, as well as the technological structure in schools, the level of reading and school account.

For their part, school principals expressed their appreciation for the efforts made and what has been accomplished and implemented on the ground to achieve discipline in the educational process, restore the role of the school and achieve discipline during the current school year, field visits to various schools, periodic meetings with various parties to the educational process, weekly assessments of students, the return of the work of the year, and the various decisions that created a positive transformation inside schools.
