Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said that it aims to become the state responsible for all decisions related to the protection of the land and the people, commenting: It is not allowed for anyone else to play this role, when there is an attack on the Lebanese state, the state is making the decision, and it sees how the elements of power are recruited in favor of defending the country.
Aoun added in an interview with Al -Sharq Al -Awsat newspaper: So this is not a subject of research, we are committed to applying the decision, and we started it in the south and gave it preference, and if you look at all Lebanese territory; The camps that are outside the so -called natural camps are all dismantled and disarmed by them, and we continue to focus on the south and there is cooperation from everyone, and later we return to another stage; Because we want to walk step by step to achieve this thing, and I return to confirm that the state with all its institutions is committed to implementing Resolution 1701.
And the President of Lebanon added: I want to praise the speech of Hezbollah’s Secretary -General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, who indicated in several stations in his speech to the state, continuing: Resistance is the basis and our political and political choice.
