Bayern Munich midfielder, Joao Pallia, confirmed that he is not thinking about leaving the team despite the difficult start he has been going through since joining the Bavarian giant.
In statements to the German newspaper “Shabort Bild”, Palinia said: “Rumors related to my departure does not interest me,” stressing his full commitment to the team and his endeavor to gain the confidence of the technical staff.
He added, “I will do everything to prove why the club spent the money on me, I am not thinking about leaving.”
The Portuguese player joined Bayern Munich during the last summer transfer window from Fulham for 51 million euros, in a deal that extends until the summer of 2029.
Despite the intense competition in the middle of the field, Palinia has not yet been able to reserve a basic seat in the formation of the team, as he participated in 12 games in the German league, including only 5 games as a basic.
Palinia hopes to obtain more opportunities with coach Thomas Tochel, and to prove his capabilities as an influential player in the Bayern Munich midfield during the coming period.
