The Israeli occupation continues to tighten its siege on the Gaza Strip, by closing the crossings and preventing the entry of humanitarian aid and fuel, which has exacerbated the living and health conditions in a catastrophic manner, according to the government media office in Gaza.
The war on Gaza
The office indicated that Israel prohibits daily 600 aid trucks and 50 fuel trucks, which caused a suffocating humanitarian crisis, as cases of malnutrition, especially among children, were exacerbated, as a result of the systematic starvation policy imposed by Israel on the population.
The strict restrictions also led to the closure of dozens of bakeries due to the lack of cooking gas, in addition to the complete running of flour, threatening food security for hundreds of thousands of civilians.
In a related context, the government media office affirmed that the occupation forces destroyed more than 700 water wells, which contributed to the exacerbation of the water crisis and the increasing rates of diseases related to pollution, in light of the almost complete collapse of the health sector.
On the medical level, Israel prevented the introduction of medicines and medical supplies, in addition to hospital generators, which threatens the lives of thousands of patients. It also prevented the entry of surgeons and medical delegations, which exacerbated the conditions inside the health facilities unable to meet the needs of patients and the injured.
At the end of the statement, the government media office held the Israeli occupation and the American administration fully responsible for the ongoing crimes against civilians in Gaza, calling on the international community to intervene immediately to stop these violations and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to the Strip.
