The Port Said Culture Palace Library organized a symposium entitled Inspiring models from the women of Egypt, as part of the activities of celebrating the International Women’s Day, with the aim of highlighting the stories of the success of Egyptian women and motivating young generations to ambition and diligence.
A cultural symposium in Port Said to celebrate International Women’s Day
The symposium was held at the Port Said Industrial Secondary School for Girls, where speakers dealt with the functioning of prominent women’s personalities, they gave bright models in various fields, including Mrs. Aziza Abdel Shafi, who was honored as an ideal mother, and Dr. Naglaa Mahfouz, who contributed to supporting small projects for women, and Captain Rania Alwani, the first Egyptian swimmer to achieve global achievements, as well Presidential initiatives aimed at empowering women and enhancing their role in society.
The event included a discussion episode with the students on their aspirations and how to achieve their goals with determination and diligence, and to emphasize the importance of not surrendering to any challenges that you may face in the way of success.

This symposium comes within the framework of cultural activities supporting the role of women in society, and encouraging emerging generations to take these models as an example in their future career.
