The Moroccan national team, led by Walid Al-Rakraki, defeated its Tanzania counterpart, in the framework of the sixth round competitions in the fifth group of Africa qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, with a score of 2-0 in the meeting held at the Manga Municipal Stadium in Tunisia.
The negative tie was settled as a result of the first half of the Morocco and Tanzania match, despite attempts to score the goal of progress.
Morocco scored its first goals in the 51st minute of the second match, through its player Nayef Akard.
The Moroccan national team got a penalty kick in the 58th minute in the second half, which was inhabited by Ibrahim Diaz, Real Madrid player in the net.
The Tanzania team tried to score the goal of reducing the result, but the Atlas Lions Defense line was very coherent, to end the meeting with the Moroccan national team winning a clean double.
