Imad Miteb said through his official Facebook account: Today I submit my resignation from the Association of Professional Clubs, since since the first day I have not left any space to work inside the League for three years, I was never a decision maker or even a partner or advisor in any decision taken by the association.
Miteb continued: Some people may ask why I have not resigned before, even though I was not a partner in making any decision from the beginning? The truth is that I did not want to export crises, and I had a permanent hope that the conditions would change for the better and that I have a real role within the association, but after this period has passed without any change, there is no longer a feasibility of continuing a position without a real influence.
He continued: The last summit events and the withdrawal of Al -Ahly club came to be a decisive point that assured me that things will not change, and that my presence inside the association has become meaningless. So my decision today came out of respect for myself, my historical, and the entity that I represent.
He concluded: Once again, I thank Al -Ahly club for an optional honor to represent it inside the association, and at the same time I apologize to him and his fans for not continuing my mission. All the best for my colleagues in the Club Association as I am coming.
