The artist Sherif Hafez revealed the details of his role in his latest drama, Athens, starring the artist Reham Hajjaj, where the series deals with the story of a young university who seeks to implement a graduation project based on artificial intelligence independently away from human intervention, but the events take a tragic direction when this young man suicides, which leads to interesting dramatic developments during the series.
Sharif Ramzi expressed his opinion on artificial intelligence and its increasing impact, in statements to Cairo 24, noting that the awareness of modern generations of technological dangers has become greater than it was in the past.
Sharif Hafez, his father – may God have mercy on him – cited, who was always keen to put a cover on the laptop camera as a precaution, stressing that dealing with artificial intelligence should be cautious.

Sherif Ramzi added: Artificial intelligence is an important invention, but we must know where we use it, not every need that we use to depend on, it is possible to help us in medicine, like the discovery of a final treatment for diabetes or cancer, instead of it is just an analgesic, but it is impossible to enter into art or any field that depends on the feeling, the human being is created with feelings and creativity, and his age is what will be in an alternative to this.
As for his personality in the series, Sharif indicated that he found a great similarity between him and the character of Mahmoud who embodies, as they agree in the love of doing the right thing and seeking success, but he made it clear that there is a basic difference between them
Sherif Hafez continues: I am doing a master’s degree, which is a graduation project, but he is smart and genius that he knows that he who dreams about it will not be fulfilled, so he decided that he will not complete, this is more different between me and him, and the personality is very affected by me, to the point that I am not affected by his point of view and I am not able to get out of it.
