1. Preparing the body to relax
After returning from Tarawih, try to stop arduous physical activities and go to light relaxation exercises, such as deep breathing or meditation, to help calm the body and prepare it for sleep.
2. Avoid eating caffeine and stimulants
It is advised not to eat coffee or caffeine -containing drinks after breakfast or after Tarawih, because it may affect the body’s ability to enter deep sleep, and replace it with calming drinks such as warm milk or herbal tea.
3. Adjustment and temperature
Creating the bedroom in an appropriate way that enhances relaxation, so be sure that the lighting is dim and the temperature is moderate, it is preferable to close the electronic devices before bed to reduce the exposure to blue light that affects the production of melatonin responsible for regulating sleep.
4. Eat a snack and balanced
Excessive eating after Tarawih may cause digestive disorders and affect the quality of sleep. Make sure your meal is light and balanced, so that it contains food items that help relax, such as bananas, almonds, or milk.
5. Determine a fixed time for sleeping
Even in Ramadan, it is preferable to maintain a regular sleep schedule as possible, as sleeping at a specific time daily helps to enhance the normal sleep cycle of the body, which contributes to sleeping faster.
6. Bathing with warm water
Bathing with warm water before bed helps calm the muscles and reduce stress, which enhances entry into a deep sleep stage more quickly.
7. Practicing the remembrance of sleep
Reading the remembrance of sleep contributes to calming the mind and preparing the soul to relax, which helps to sleep with reassurance and tranquility after a day full of activities and acts of worship.
