The Ministry issued health The population is a set of important guidelines that pregnant women must follow during the performance of the Umrah rituals, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of the embryos, especially in light of the crowds and high temperatures during the Umrah season in the month of Ramadan.
Health provides important advice to pregnant women during the Umrah season
In an awareness publication, the ministry stressed the need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and eat sufficient quantities of fluids to avoid dehydration and heat stress. She also stressed the importance of the continuous movement while performing the rituals to avoid the problems of clots resulting from long periods.
The Ministry recommended pregnant women to avoid crowded places as much as possible, and to resort to the nearest medical facility in the event of a feeling of fatigue or dizziness, stressing that the medical teams in the Egyptian Mission for Hajj and Umrah are ready to provide support and health care when needed.
Earlier, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, discussed ways of cooperation with the global company “Medterone” in the field of technology and medical solutions, during a meeting with Dr. Anna Kasparzak, Vice Chairman of the company and Chairman of the East and Central Europe and Africa, and the accompanying delegation, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the new administrative capital.
The Ministry of Health and Population explained that the discussions touched on the expansion of the use of aortic valve replacement technology through catheter (Tavi), In which Egypt has achieved great successes, by increasing the number of specialized centers at the level of the Republic, and limiting the cases that need this advanced medical procedure, which contributes to reducing the need for emergency surgical interventions and improving the results of treatment.
She added that cooperation with Medterone is part of the Ministry’s efforts to maximize the benefit of available resources, and to support the initiative to end the waiting lists, by providing the latest medical solutions that raise the efficiency of the services provided.
