Earlier, the Minister of Awqaf, the priest, Dr. Andre Zaki, head of the Evangelical community, received at the head of a high -level delegation from the leaders of the Evangelical Church, at the Grand Egypt Mosque in the new administrative capital, to congratulate the blessed month of Ramadan and the near coming Eid Al -Fitr, in a meeting that confirms the depth of national relations and the spirit of brotherhood that brings together the Egyptian people.

In the same context, the minister received a telegram of congratulations from His Eminence Cardinal Kovakad – Dean of the Department of Religions in the Vatican – on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan and the near coming of Eid Al -Fitr, hoping to reconcile all those seeking towards love and aspiration for close cooperation between Muslims and Christians to achieve the human dignity that God has deposited in man.
In this context, the minister valued the sincere words that His Eminence Cardinal Kovakad in the name of the Vatican in his message, which touched on the meanings of beauty in the two religions, the synchronization between the fasting of Ramadan and the great fasting, and the convergence of the meanings of righteousness and the preservation of human dignity in the whole world.
The minister also expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for this telegram, which raises the meanings of righteousness and charity and convergence on the values of the university what humanity I need today.
