The “Friends of Cancer Patients Association” launched the annual “Zakat” campaign aimed at collecting zakat and donating funds and allocating them to provide material and moral support to those with cancer and reduce the financial burdens of various cancer treatment programs on patients and their families and contribute to a real positive impact in their lives and improve their health, psychological and social conditions. The campaign this year comes under the slogan “Group Taddad” to emphasize the importance of the union in the face of cancer and encourage members of society to combat cancer, based on a legal fatwa issued by the permanent committee of the fatwa in the Emirate of Sharjah, allowing the use of money zakat to help withfected patients who cannot bear the cost of treatment
