The Parliamentary National Defense, Defense and Security Committee approved the proposal with a desire to redefine the times of trucks for public roads.
The proposal aims to reduce congestion and traffic accidents, and to avoid the congestion caused by disrupting the interests of street goers, and the insufficient capacity of the public streets of this amount of cars and trucks at the same time.
For its part, the Ministry of Interior clarified that the current peak times from (6:00) to (8:00) in the morning is suitable, and achieve the desired goal of it, and that increasing the peak times from the aforementioned limit would affect economically and commercially on transporting goods and others.
