The Arab Music Ensemble for the Minya Culture Palace, in a wonderful artistic evening, performed a distinguished artistic ceremony in the Minya Sports Club, as part of the activities of the General Authority for Culture Palaces under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, Major General Khaled Al -Laban and supervised by the writer Mohamed Nassef, Vice -President of the Authority, and the region of the cultural Upper Egypt headed by Gamal Abdel Nasser, Director General of the region, and the Minya Culture Branch headed by Rehab Tawfiq.
The band led by the Maestro Baligh Hamdi presented a variety of national songs and songs of authentic singing, which enjoyed the audience and ignited their feelings. The concert program included a set of wonderful songs, including: Umm Kulthum cocktail music, do not worship (collective), we missed (Fathi Ahmed) nights, laughed and played (collectively), if you go to you (Arwa), the Ramadan cocktail (collective), we are called passion (Carmina), the heart loves (Afnan), Mustafa Darwish, the nights of the nights (collective).
The audience interacted with enthusiasm with the performance of the band, and they were warmly applied to the songs they presented, and the audience expressed their admiration for the band’s level, and praised its distinguished performance.
Rehab Tawfiq, head of the Minya Culture Branch, stressed the importance of the role of art in spreading cultural and national awareness, noting that the branch is keen to organize various activities targeting different age groups.
The ceremony witnessed a distinguished presence of members of the Minya Sports Club and Arab music fans, who expressed their happiness in this wonderful artistic evening.
