The Parliamentary Financial and Economic Affairs Committee approved the proposal with a desire to establish a specialized center for the care of inventors.
The proposal aims to work to convert the idea that revolves in the mind of the inventor into a success story and a leading project that contributes to the development of the Kingdom’s economy, and to provide financial support to the inventors by providing sufficient budget for the implementation of projects, by establishing an investment portfolio with the support of companies and entities in the Kingdom, and providing administrative support to the inventor through coordination with the relevant authorities to find financiers, promotion and marketing for the invention inside and outside The Kingdom, providing legal support to the inventor in everything related to patents and protecting intellectual property rights, preparing feasibility studies for inventions and the extent of their implementation, returns and economic effects, and setting up training courses to develop the capabilities of inventors, and research and investing in university and institutes projects.
