The Ministry of Awqaf is preparing to open 36 mosques today, Friday, 21 of Ramadan 1446 AH/ 21 of March 2025 AD, 13 mosques, including the replacement and renewal system, and 23 mosques for maintenance and development.
Endowments open 36 mosques at the governorate level today
The Ministry announced the arrival of the total open mosques since the beginning of July 2024 AD until now to 1230 mosques, including 834 mosques, replacement and renewal, and 396 mosques, maintenance and development, and confirmed that the total of what was replaced, renewed, maintained and brushed since July 2014 amounted to 13311 mosques at a total cost of about 22 billion and 432 million pounds.

In Beheira Governorate: replacement and renewal: Yassin Hamad Mosque, Al -Darawiya Maritime Village – Abu Homs Center; Abu Sitta Mosque, Al -Bassaloun Village – Kafr El -Dawwar Center; Zawiya Al -Fayoumi Mosque, the village of Zawiya Muslim – Al -Delingat Center.
Maintenance: Al -Radwan Mosque, Abdul Majeed Al -Morsi Village – Badr Center; Al-Rahman Mosque, next to the plastic factory- Bandar Hosh Issa; Combo Al -Kabir Mosque – Mahmoudiyah Center.
In Minya Governorate: Replacing and renewing: Abdel Moneim Mosque, Ezbet Abdel Moneim, Tambdi Village – Maghagha Center; Omar Bin Al -Khattab Mosque, Bani Khalaf Village – Maghagha Center. Maintenance: Al -Dahwah Mosque, Manbal Village – Matai Center; Al-Bar and Al-Taqwa Mosque, the village of Atlidm- Abu Qurqas Center.
In Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate: Replacing and renewing: Mosque 42 Al -Mansour, Village 42 Al -Mansour – Al -Hamoul Center, Maintenance: Mahfouz Nada Mosque, Al -Qumayoun village, east – Mutobas Center; Al -Rahma Mosque, the village of Dakdat – Kafr El -Sheikh Center; Qandil Mosque, Izbat Abu Qandil, Al -Bakhanis Village – Kafr El -Sheikh Center; Al -Omari Mosque, Mahalat Al -Qasab Village – Kafr El -Sheikh Center; Al -Kabeer Shams El Din Mosque, Shams El Din Village – Sidi Salem Center.

In Assiut Governorate: Replacing and renovating: Al -Thani Mosque – Al -Qusiya City, Maintenance: Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah Mosque, the village of Nazali Janoub – Al -Qusiya Center, and in Qena Governorate: replacement and renewal: Naga Al -Arq Mosque, Al -Asirat – Farshout Center. Maintenance: Al -Ateeq Mosque, Al -Barara Village – Nag Hammadi Center.
In Aswan Governorate: Establishing: Rouh and Rayhan Mosque, Al -Abbasiya Village – Kom Ombo Center, and in Sharkia Governorate: replacement and renewal: Al -Sawalmeh Mosque, Juhayna Maritime Village, Faqous Center, and in Dakahlia Governorate: Maintenance: Amr bin Al -Aas Mosque, Mit Tarif Village – Dikirnis Center. In Port Said Governorate: Maintenance: Al -Hakim Mosque, Bahr Al -Qara – South Port Said; Ammar Bin Yasser Mosque, Al -Khums Al -Khumari area – south of Port Said, and in Sohag Governorate: Maintenance: Omar Bin Al -Khattab Mosque, Mahamda Maritime Village – Markashaj; Al -Rahma Mosque, Damno Village – Sohag Center; Fahim Waziri Mosque, Bani Jamil Village – Balina Center.
In Qaliubiya Governorate: Maintenance: The Al -Bara’dah Mosque, Al -Bara’dah Village – Al -Qanater Charitable Center. And in Luxor Governorate: Maintenance: Al -Salam Mosque, Naga Ahmed Ibrahim – Al -Zinia Center; Al -Musta’iya Mosque, the new Al -Bayadia Center.
