Dr. Osama Al -Azhari emphasized that the opening of the mosque came after a continuous work to show in the best image worthy of its position between the mosques of the Al -Bayt, and reflects the greatness of Islamic heritage, pointing to his great happiness by moving from that majestic event to the meeting of the people of South Sinai, which embodies the diversity of blessings that the good land of Egypt has.
The Minister of Awqaf explained that Egypt was and still is the shelter of the family of the prophethood, the companions and the followers, as its pure soil includes their blessed bodies, noting that the Al -Bahnasa region alone embraces more than 700 companions, which makes it the second largest site that embraces this number after Al -Baqi in Medina.

In his speech, Dr. Khaled Mubarak, the governor of South Sinai, welcomed the Minister of Awqaf and his accompanying delegation, expressing his happiness with this visit, which comes in a distinguished timing that coincides with more than one great national and religious occasion.
The governor pointed out that the visit coincides with the anniversary of the recovery of Taba, that national occasion that is precious to the hearts of the Egyptians, which has become a national holiday for the South Sinai Governorate celebrated on the nineteenth of March of each year, stressing that it symbolizes pride, dignity and solid will that the Egyptian people have resolved in restoring their rights and not neglecting one inch of the homeland.
