In the strongest terms, Egypt condemned the Israeli incursion into Syrian territory and the shelling of the town of Koya, in a continuation of the Israeli approach to strengthening its positions and expanding its control over the lands it occupied within the Syrian depth, according to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Foreign Ministry statement: Egypt rejects in detail and detailed Israel’s exploitation of internal developments in sister Syria to seize more Syrian lands, and to undermine security and stability in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.
Israeli attacks on Syrian soil
The statement continued: Egypt considers the Israeli attacks on Syrian territory as a relief in the systematic violation of international law, and warns of the dire risks expected from the irresponsible Israeli Israeli policies.
