Education denies preventing students with special needs in international official schools “IPS”

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education denied the validity of some of the social media pages about the ban on the admission of students with special needs in international official schools “IPS”.

Conditions for applying for “IPS” schools announced from the first day to open the door for the first level in the kindergarten stage

Shadi Zalata, media advisor and spokesperson for the ministry, explained that the conditions for admission to “IPS” schools are announced since the first day to open the door for the first level in the kindergarten stage for the academic year 2025/2026, through the official website of international official schools, which can be found via the link here
The spokesperson continued that Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education is keen to intensify the Ministry’s efforts to develop educational services provided to people with special needs in various schools of the Republic and benefit from the experiences of developed countries in this field, which was at the head of his agenda during his recent visits to Japan and the United Kingdom, during which he focused on enhancing the benefit of the experiences of these countries on how to integrate psychological care for students with special needs within Educational programs that contribute to improving academic performance, promoting student health, and integrating them effectively into society.

In this context, the official spokesman appealed to the social media visitors to investigate the accuracy and objectivity in spreading the news, relying on official sources only and making sure before publishing information that is not based on any facts, and leads to confusion between students and parents.
