Reports of periodic statistics for electronic services in the Information and Electronic Government Authority revealed the completion of 2,495,836 “two million and four hundred and ninety -five thousand eight hundred and thirty -six” financial transactions through the national portal in 2024, while the total amounts collected as a value of it reached 674,659,333 “six hundred and seventy -four million and six hundred and fifty nine thousand And three hundred and thirty three »Bahraini dinars in the past year. The statistics also showed an increase in the number of visitors to the national portal, as the number of visitors to the portal reached 45,937,152 «forty -five million and nine hundred and thirty -seven thousand and one hundred and fifty -two” visitors, compared to 42,979,259 million visitors in 2023. The first half of the year 2024, has witnessed the inauguration and achievement of (35) new electronic services through the gate National and e -government channels, the most prominent of which are (9) new services belonging to the Information Authority and e -government, including the service of printing the identification card providers with the rapid response code (QR), death certificate services, the service of inquiring about the state of birth certificate requests, and the service of renewing the ID card for senior citizens. (3) new services affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and a number of relevant authorities were launched within the application of (the merchant). It included (a service for visual contact consultation), (digital business advisor service) and (service to create a commercial record without a license), in addition to launching one service for nationality, passports and residence, and the service of submitting a restoration financing request to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and a service for the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
