Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, announced the formation of a working group that includes the Ministry of Culture and a number of authorities concerned with the media and drama file, such as the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, the National Media Authority, and producing companies, led by the United Company for Media Services, in addition to a group of specialists, from university professors, writers, authors, directors, and sociology and psychology, with the aim of developing a scientific and objective vision for the future of Egyptian drama.

The Prime Minister stressed that this step comes in response to what was raised by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi regarding the necessity of reflecting the dramatic and media works the real Egyptian reality, and enhancing positive values in society, especially after the reactions that showed the presence of a gap between some of the works presented in the month of Ramadan and the authentic metal of Egyptian society.
Dr. Mustafa Madbouly stressed that this trend does not in any way aim to restrict freedom of creativity and thought, but rather seeks to provide a drama that honestly expresses the Egyptian reality, and deals with society issues in a professional manner that enhances the national identity and belonging, while adhering to the moral and civilizational principles.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the Egyptian state has a great artistic and media heritage, and it is necessary to work to restore it and develop it in a way that keeps pace with modern variables, stressing that the primary goal is to produce dramatic works at the highest level of quality, remains immortal in the memory of generations and reflects the true image of Egyptian society.
