The Directorate of Health in Dakahlia Governorate has raised the maximum level of readiness in all hospitals of the governorate, in preparation for receiving the blessed Eid Al -Fitr, in order to ensure the provision of distinguished medical services during the leave period.

Dr. Tamer Madkour, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Dakahlia, directed an expanded meeting to discuss the work plan in hospitals during the Eid period, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Al -Bili, Undersecretary of the Directorate for Medical Medicine, as well as managers of hospital departments and critical care and a number of officials of technical departments in the Directorate.
The Undersecretary stressed the importance of implementing an integrated emergency plan, which includes the convening of the emergency operations room 24 hours a day, while securing the availability of sufficient quantities of medicines and medical supplies to cover the needs of hospitals throughout the Eid period. He also stressed the need to read the reception and emergency departments to receive critical cases and deal quickly with them.
During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al -Bili stressed the importance of intensifying supervisory traffic on hospitals, to ensure commitment to the plans set and provide medical service in an optimal way. He also stressed the need for the speedy response to any complaints received through the electronic system within 48 hours of submitting it.
The preparation plan included an emphasis on raising the efficiency of medical emergency teams and the distribution of doctors and nursing bodies to all the Nubai to ensure the continued provision of the service without interruption. The readiness of the rapid spread teams was also emphasized in the event of any emergency, as well as full coordination with the ambulance facility to provide comprehensive coverage in all centers and cities of the province.
The preparations also included ensuring the readiness of the intensive care departments and incubators to receive critical cases, while providing sufficient stocks of blood bags and its derivatives to ensure that patients’ needs are met.
These efforts come within the framework of the Dakahlia Health Directorate’s keenness to provide a safe atmosphere for citizens during the Eid Al -Fitr celebrations, in a manner that ensures the provision of an integrated medical service that contributes to preserving the safety and health of everyone.
