Several countries, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Yemen, announced that Sunday 30 March 2025 is the first day of Eid Al -Fitr, after the vision of the crescent of Shawwal was proven this evening, Saturday evening.
The Saudi Royal Court affirmed that the Supreme Court decided that Sunday is the first day of the holiday for this year 1446 AH, and the UAE announced through the Presidential Court that the Crescent vision was legally established, so that Sunday would be the first day of the holiday in the country.
The Al -Hilal investigation committee in Qatar and the Sharia Vision Authority in Bahrain and Kuwait announced, as well as the Yemeni Dar Al -Iftaa, that tomorrow, Sunday, is the blessed Eid Al -Fitr in their country.
On the other hand, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and the Sultanate of Oman, Indonesia, and Iran announced that Sunday is the completion of the month of Ramadan, and therefore Monday, March 31, will be the first day of the holiday.
The International Astronomy Center also announced that Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Brunei will celebrate Al -Fitr on Monday, March 31, after Al -Hilal could not see this evening, Saturday.
