His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, chaired the regular weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers, which was held today at the Al -Qudaibiya Palace.
At the beginning of the meeting, the council raised the best congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, on the occasion of the launch of the Bahraini satellite “Al -Mundhir” to its space orbit successfully from the Vandenberg base for the satellite forces in the US state Regional and international, praising the continuous efforts made by the qualified national cadres that managed to achieve this achievement, which were followed up and supported by His Highness the Corner Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, Secretary -General of the Supreme Defense Council.
After that, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, may God protect him, expressed his thanks and appreciation for what His Highness and the accompanying delegation received during his visit to the United Arab Emirates in hospitality, good and action that reflects the established relations between the two brotherly countries that have the patronage and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may God protect them In this regard, the Council praised the depth and durability of the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates and the development and growth between them.
Then the council praised the launch of the third edition of the International Prize for Empowering Women, during the recorded speech by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of the country’s great monarch, President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God preserve it on the sidelines of the sixty -ninth session of the United Nations Women’s Placement Committee, stressing that this award reflects the permanent commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to support international efforts aimed at strengthening the role of women as a basic partner in sustainable development.
After that, the Council praised the spirit of responsibility and commitment that is characterized by the people of Bahrain and their keenness to contribute the active to the comprehensive development process, driven by the passion of achievement and belonging, in the context of referring to the day of community partnership and national affiliation, where the Council praised the initiatives launched by the Ministry of Interior and its role in strengthening societal partnership.
Then the Council pointed to the interest of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the context of its presidency of the current Arab summit to support all initiatives that enhance Arab solidarity, pointing to the role of the League of Arab States in enhancing Arab cooperation, in light of the indication of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the League of Arab States.
After that, the Council welcomed Bahrain International Airport to receive the “Quality of Airport Services Services for Best Access Services” globally from the International Airports Council, confirming the interest in continuing to develop the capabilities and competition of Bahrain Airport.
Then the council approved the following notes:
1. Memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs and financial balance on updating a guide for commercial activities requirements in a record system.
2. The Memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs on a draft decree to amend some of the provisions of the decree to establish and organize the National Authority for Space Sciences.

The Memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Information Authority and the e -government and the Saudi Data and Intelligence Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on joint cooperation in the field of data and artificial intelligence.

The council reviewed the following:
1. The Ministerial Committee for Development Projects and Infrastructure on the Committee’s work for the year 2024, and what has been completed in the field of housing projects, infrastructure and urban planning projects.
2. A memorandum of His Excellency the Minister of Oil and Environment, the special envoy for climate affairs on water quality in Tubli Bay, after implementing projects to improve the water flow movement.
