The Supreme Committee came and said that the market must be opened, we told the campaigns and explained to them the mechanism of work, and we told them that there is a condition for running, which is to obtain 90 pilgrims, and this is not surprising, and every year there will be campaigns that will not be lucky.
The minister’s response was not limited to this aspect, but went to confirm that the new mechanism made 98% of the pilgrims go to the pilgrimage for the first time, other than what was previous.
A strong response, supported by numbers, was based on one fundamental point, which is that Bahraini citizens are more important than the campaign owner, he is ultimately a merchant and investor, and commercial work by nature is exposed to profit and loss.
The response revealed that a Hamid’s approach to the executive authority, as the observance of the merchant and the investor is necessary, and is required, but this should not be at the expense of citizens, so whenever the two interests are conflicting, the interest of citizens was provided, and this trend comes in response to the repeated directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, that the Bahraini citizen will always remain the focus of the state’s interest and the main goal of any plans and development programs.
