Car sales in China witnessed a slight increase of 1.3% in the first two months of 2025 compared to the same period in the previous year.
Car sales in China increased by 1.3% in the first two months from 2025
This rise in sales is attributed to the enlarged customer support program that has strengthened the demand for cars, while a price war is taking place in the new smart electric car market at the same time.
According to the data issued by the Chinese Passenger Cars Association (CPCA) on Monday, passenger car sales increased by 26.1% year on year to 1.41 million units in February.
This increase comes after a 12% decrease in January, and sales volatility indicates the dynamic nature of the car market in China, which is affected by various factors, including customer support programs and competitive prices in the electric car sector.
