The Minister of Oil and Environment, Dr. Muhammad bin Dinah, revealed the support of the Supreme Environment Council in principle to visualize the proposal to establish a museum for Crimea in Salman City – 580 Complex – because of its positive and enhanced effects of environmental tourism and preserving the innate natural history of the Kingdom, in addition to the expected role in promoting environmental societal awareness in line with the efforts of the official authorities and the rational government to protect and promote biological diversity and ensure its sustainability.
In his response to the proposal of the Northern Municipal Council, Bin Dinah stressed the importance of studying all environmental aspects related to the project after preparing the general perception and detailed plans for it, and the importance of taking into account the requirements of all relevant official authorities.
The Northern Municipal Council had agreed to the proposal to establish a museum for Crimea in Salman, the complex of 580, with the first museum of its kind in Bahrain.
The proposal of the proposal, representative of the second department, the municipal member Bassem Abu Idris, said that this project is the first of its kind, noting that the Crimea trees are considered one of the most wonderful and useful types for humans.
He explained that this strong tree plays the role of the natural bumper of winds, as it contributes to protecting from Medicine storms and purifying the surrounding water, as it is very effective in detaining and storing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and thus contributing to combating climate change, zero neutrality and carbon emission.
Abu Idris stressed that the establishment of this museum will include many positive aspects, in addition to the previous benefits of the tree, as it is a support for researchers, scholars and those interested in the environment with specialists, due to the presence of a training center for cultivating Crimea and environmental plants, and is suitable for school students to do scientific experiences, and contains a three -dimensional “cinema” and environmental information showroom, and environmental scope, And a hall for children, a courtyard for food and public utilities, in addition to that it will be a continuation of the series of archaeological sites in the northern governorate that attracts visitors and tourists.
