Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, stressed the Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Cairo, to raise the degree of readiness to receive the blessed Eid Al -Fitr by intensifying campaigns on the markets to ensure the validity of goods and the availability of all services in cooperation with the health and catering directorates, the Supply Investigation, and the neighborhoods.
The Governor of Cairo called on the Veterinary Medicine Directorate to coordinate with the directors of supply and health to take all preventive measures, intensify control and inspection campaigns on markets, especially the places of width of meat, frozen and fresh poultry, fresh, manufactured and preserved fish stores, and the basic commodity outlets for citizens, to ensure the quality and validity of the products and goods offered for consumption, and control of goods The violation is not valid in order to preserve the public health of citizens and take legal measures against violators.
In this context, Sabri Zeinhom, Director of the Veterinary Medicine Directorate, indicated that the Directorate launched several campaigns on the markets during which it managed to seize 2 tons, 812 kg, skewer, two narcks, hernia, salinity, and fish that are not suitable for human consumption. For human consumption, legal measures have been taken against violators, 25 minutes were edited and violations were referred to the competent prosecution to take the necessary action.
The Governor of Cairo stressed the need to continue to intensify the inspection campaigns throughout the day in order to preserve the health of citizens.
