The officials of the Egyptian Al -Ahly Club, headed by Mahmoud Al -Khatib, made a harsh decision regarding Akram Tawfiq, the Red Team midfielder before the end of the current season, and to participate in the Club World Cup in America in the middle of this year.
The first football team in Al -Ahly Club is preparing to participate in the Club World Cup in the first group that includes the American Inter Miami, Porto Porto and Brazilian Miras.
The Red Genie begins its career in the Club World Cup, confronting the American Inter Miami team on June 15 in the starting strike at the Club World Cup.
Mohamed Ramadan, the sports director of the Egyptian Al -Ahly Club, recommended, in agreement with Mahmoud Al -Khatib, head of the Red Castle, and the general supervisor of the football team, to exclude Akram Tawfiq, the Red Team midfielder from the Swiss accounts of Marcel Kuller in the World Club World Cup matches in America, because of the failure to renew his contract with the team until now.
Mohamed Ramadan asked Al -Ahly club football to be satisfied with the player’s journey with the team after the end of the current season at the end of next May, and to exclude him from the final list that is expected to be sent on March 20 to the International Football Association “FIFA”.
This comes due to the signature of Akram Tawfiq to the North Qatar Club without the knowledge of the Egyptian Al -Ahly club and the move to the ranks of the Qatari team in the new season.
