In a new international and global achievement added to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Nations General Assembly approved, during its current session, a draft resolution submitted by the Kingdom, in cooperation with a number of brotherly and friendly countries, regarding the adoption of January 28 of each year, an international day for peaceful coexistence, based on an initiative from the King Hamad International Center for Peaceful Coexistence, where the United Nations General Assembly requested member states, related institutions with the United Nations system, and international organizations Regional, civil society, the media, and the concerned authorities, celebrate this day, as well as the United Nations Secretary -General, to inform the parties to the decision, to take what is necessary.
It is noteworthy in this matter that January 28 is the day of the birth of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, which confirms what His Majesty has the great king, may God protect and preserve him from a high international and international status, in addition to the human appreciation at all regional and international levels, which establishes the Kingdom’s values in devoting a culture of peace and combating violence, racism and racism, and through follow -up. In this regard, it is necessary to mention the efforts of the King Hamad International Center for Peaceful Coexistence and what the Minister of Communications and Communications stressed the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad International Center for peaceful coexistence, His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa from the relentless pursuit of the Center to invest this global event, and to celebrate it in an optimal way, to spread the message of harmony and coexistence through dialogue, and to provide more education and training in this vital field.
Here, it must be pointed out the great efforts made by the center through its educational and educational programs to empower young people, in addition to graduating the first batch of employees of the “Joint Graduate Studies Diploma on Peaceful Coexistence”, which was launched in cooperation with the United Nations University of Peace, as well as the inauguration of the “King Hamad Leadership Program in Peaceful Coexistence”, in cooperation with the Organization for Command, and the Institute of 1928 at Oxford University, to prepare a generation Among the young leaders who are qualified in the field of dialogue between religions and civilizations.
