As part of his continuous efforts to enhance volunteering and consolidate the values of solidarity, the “Jude” team organized the volunteer work in the Islamic Bank of Bahrain, its annual initiative “breakfast on the road”, where breakfast meals were distributed to drivers and road users in a number of major streets in various governorates of Bahrain, on Friday, March 21, 2025.
This initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to its social responsibility and its keenness to support society by spreading a culture of giving and solidarity. It also embodies the spirit of cooperation that distinguishes Bahraini society, and enhances the values of goodness and humanitarian initiatives in the holy month.
The initiative this year witnessed the distribution of more than 1500 breakfast meals with the wide participation of the bank’s volunteers, who were keen to provide a helping hand and enhance the positive spirit during the holy month. The bank also adopts sustainable practices by using environmentally friendly bags, confirming its commitment to the principles of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
It is noteworthy that the “Jude” team for volunteering, which was established in 2019, includes a group of bank employees, and aims to implement volunteer initiatives that reflect the bank’s continuous commitment to society, and is in line with its vision in supporting sustainable development.
