The English star Trint Alexander Arnold, Liverpool player, decided his position on his future, after he rejected all the renovation offers with his club, preferring to leave for Real Madrid in a free transfer deal.
Arnold’s contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the current season, which makes him able to sign any new club during the current period, according to the FIFA regulations.
The Spanish newspaper “Defense Central” revealed that Barcelona tried to persuade the player to move to “Camp Nou”, but he was rejected, as Arnold wanted to join Real Madrid, who made an attractive offer with a salary of 15 million euros annually, as well as a huge signature reward.
Real Madrid had tried to sign the player in January, by submitting an official offer to Liverpool worth 15 million euros, but the English club refused to sell it in the middle of the season.
With Arnold refused to renew with the Reds, his transfer to Real Madrid has become a matter of time, to be one of the most prominent deals in the next summer transfer window.
